UScholars supports our UH advisors in their mission by ensuring - through training and certification programs - that academic advisors have a solid foundation: an understanding of all the ins and outs of degree plan requirements; familiarity with federal, state, and university policy; knowledge of how to help students in not only identifying but meeting their individual financial, academic, and UH-community needs; and last but not least, access to resources for their own support and growth as professionals.
